What are the common causes of spouting leaks?

Spouting leaks are often caused by rusted or disconnected spouting, this generally just happens with age and spouting needs to be maintained and or replaced. Build up of leaves and sticks in gutters can cause blockages in spouting and down pipes causing overflow and build up of water in the gutters. For this reason it is important to also regularly clear your spouting and cut back overhanging trees which drop leaves and other debris into the spouting.
